• Lightly crush or comb with a paddle brush or comb with a paddle crush to maintain the straight-yaki texture

• Limit excessive heat; always use a heat protectant when styling

Day care:

• Keep a small anit-frizz serum or spray on hand for humidity control

• Avoid over-touching to reduce frizz and maintain smoothness

Night Care:

• Wrap hair with a silk or satin scarf or bonnet

• Use a silk pillowcase to prevent dryness and friction

• Lightly braid or wrap hair to maintain style and reduce tangling

TRU COILS HOME CARE:

• Use sulfate-free, hydrating shampoo and a rich moisturizing conditioner

• Keep hair hydrated with leave-in conditioner and curl-defining cream

• Use a spray bottle with water + conditioner mix to refresh curls

• Detangle gently with fingers or a wide-tooth comb while damp

• Avoid brushing dry curls to prevent frizz and shedding

Day Care:

• Refresh curls with water or curl refresher spray to maintain bounce

• Scrunch curls with a light mousse or curl cream for definition

• Avoid heavy oils that can weigh curls down

Night Care:

• Pineapple hair or loosely braid to preserve curl pattern

• Wear a satin bonnet or scarf to reduce frizz

• Sleep on a silk pillowcase to maintain moisture and definition

For best results, we recommend keeping Tru Believable Hair in its natural color or enhancing it with subtle, low-maintenance tones to preserve that integrity of the hair. All coloring should be done using professional-grade products by a licensed cosmetologist to ensure the hair remains healthy, vibrant, and long-lasting.

Please Note: Tru Coils textures, the use of chemical color-especially lightening-may loosen the curl pattern. Proper care, conditioning treatments, and professional application will help maintain the overall beauty and longevity of the hair.

Each unit is made with premium hair that is soft, full, and true to texture, giving you a flawless and natural look. The knots are small and carefully constructed to mimic the appearance of natural scalp.

PLEASE NOTE: Knots do not come pre-bleached. However, due to the fine lace and small knot size, the unit blends beautifully and can be easily customized to your preference.

Our lace is delicate and should be handled with care, as it is designed to give a natural, flawless look. While the lace is fragile, with proper maintenance it can last up 2-4 installs.

Please note: Its normal for some clients, especially those with less experience, to need a new lace sooner than expected. For best results, we recommend having your lace installed by a professional stylist to ensure longevity. Avoid excessive pulling, combing, or brushing, as this can lead to unnecessary shedding. Additionally, do not over-bleach the knots, as this can weaken the lace and cause excessive shedding. With proper care, your lace will maintain its quality and appearance over time.
